Real Tuf Toughened Glass is made through a process of controlled thermal treatment of annealed glass to increase its strength.
The increased heat treatment and rapid cooling produce different physical properties in the glass, making it four times stronger than conventional annealed glass — and giving it a distinct, safer break pattern under impact.
In 2017, CLSG installed a new state-of-the-art toughening unit, expanding our capability to manufacture Clear, Laminated, and Frosted Toughened Glass across a full range of thicknesses and configurations.
