What is laminated glass?
Laminated glass is two or more panes bonded with an interlayer, so it stays in place when broken. CLSG makes toughened laminated glass from 9.52mm to 26.28mm with PVB or Kuraray SentryGlas (SGP), at its plant in Sonepat, Haryana.
How we make it

What is laminated glass?
Laminated glass is two or more panes of glass bonded together with a plastic interlayer such as PVB or SentryGlas. If the glass breaks, the pieces stick to the interlayer and the panel stays in place. CLSG makes toughened laminated glass, where each pane is toughened before lamination.
Laminated vs toughened glass: what is the difference?
Toughened glass is a single strong pane that breaks into small blunt pieces. Laminated glass holds together when broken because of its interlayer. Toughened laminated glass combines both, which is why it is used for roofs, skylights, high railings and facades.
What thickness of laminated glass do you make?
Toughened laminated glass from 9.52mm to 26.28mm. Tell us the use, span and frame, and we will suggest the build.
PVB or SGP: which interlayer should I choose?
PVB is the common interlayer and comes in clear, tinted and milky. SentryGlas (SGP) from Kuraray is stiffer and used for custom and more demanding applications. We will suggest the interlayer for your design.
Is laminated glass soundproof?
No glass is fully soundproof, but laminated glass reduces noise better than a single pane of the same thickness, because the interlayer damps sound.
What is the maximum size?
Our autoclave takes glass over 10 ft high and 12 ft wide. Send your sizes and we will confirm the build.
Is your laminated glass BIS certified?
Yes. CLSG is certified to BIS IS 2553 and IATF 16949. A material test certificate (MTC) is available on request.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order for flat laminated glass. We can also do fabrication and job work on request.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes. We dispatch PAN India from our plant in Sonepat, Haryana, and export to 20+ countries.
